Sponsored by Lehi City and put on by the Lehi Historical Society and Archives, Lehi Heritage Day celebrates Lehi’s finest contributors today as well as the city’s impressive past. The event begins with activities that celebrate the living honorees and wraps up with events honoring the past.

Showcase Parade

Center Street from Wine’s Park to Legacy Center

Features the LHD Honorees as well as 20 vehicles from the Lehi Heritage Day Classic Car and Bike show. Parades have been building community in Lehi since its earliest people lived within a fort wall from 1850-1860.

Honoree Celebration

Legacy Center at 123 N. Center

Highlights the year’s LHD honorees for their many hours of service in behalf of Lehi. Each couple / individual is awarded their own brick in the Walk of Fame Garden.

Senior Center and the Legacy Center

The LHD Honorees greet neighbors, friends and community at this meet and greet where their families have set up beautiful displays featuring their lives.

Festivities

North Gym Legacy Center

LHD Festivities center around a historic Lehi theme, which is presented through activities, displays, costumes and food.

Classic Car Show

The LHD Classic Car and Bike Show costs $10 to enter and features some of the area’s most beautiful classic vehicles. First 20 cars to pay fee ride in parade and have reserved spot.

History of the Lehi Heritage Day

Since 2014, the Lehi Historical Society and Archives has been putting on Lehi Heritage Day not only to celebrate Lehi’s remarkable past, but also to honor those making history today.

With a parade, honoree celebration, exhibits and activities, yummy food and a classic car and bike show, the day has grown into a much anticipated, and greatly appreciated, Lehi event.

Past Heritage Days

2022

This year’s theme was “100 Years of Beautiful Homes,” meaning we celebrated 20-plus homes that were more than 100 years old.

2021

Our theme was “Back to the ’60s,” with lots of wonderful displays and activities, created and manned by those who lived it.

2020

Eight couples and one individual were honored in newspaper articles that were published by The Lehi Free Press, and with yard signs to celebrate their achievements.

2019

This year’s theme was “Honoring the Early Settlers of the Lehi City Fort, 1850-1860,” as inspired by the work of Lehi historian Wayne Clark. It was by far the largest Heritage Day yet.

2018

This year’s celebration featured the Early Industry of Lehi, including the Lehi Factory of the Utah and Idaho Sugar Factory, Lehi Roller Mills and more.

2017

This year’s celebration focused on the people of the old Third Ward, which extended from the neighborhood around Bandwagon Park to the Point of the Mountain.

2016

This celebration featured the people of the old Fourth Ward. The event offered the first small car show. Twelve couples were honored.

2015

Lehi Heritage Day 2015 featured the peoples and places of the Lehi Second Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Twelve couples were honored.

2014

Lehi Heritage Day 2014 was held on Main Street, featuring its businesses and the peoples of the Lehi First Ward. Twelve couples were honored.
